This project for a local participatory budget aims to clearly signal the time of year in which it takes place while also providing effective and comprehensive means of communication with the citizens. The logo is the basic form of a visual identity that can be renewed each year, mainly by changing some of the main colors. The base elements in the logo can originate new compositions according to different communication goals. The visual identity is distinguished mostly through its typography (“Work Sans”, by Wei Huang + “Cimo”, by Dino dos Santos) and its colors (two of which will change year). This project also includes a website (designed by Sofia Rocha e Silva; implemented by Purple Profile) and the concept for a trophy (designed by Bisarro design studio).
